Many people still tend to see the AI as a monstrous entity that wants to invade our lives and eliminate humans or substitute our presence on Earth. AI is a tool created for us! Let’s take the best from it! The future is now. Don’t let yourself be left behind.

5 reasons why AI cannot “steal” my job

As AI technology continues to advance, there are growing concerns about how it will impact various industries and job sectors. Many people worry that AI will take over jobs that require creativity, such as graphic design, photography and art direction.

Many people still tend to see the AI as a monstrous entity that wants to invade our lives and eliminate humans or substitute our presence on Earth.

The truth is, there is absolutely no reason to be scared of AI. It was built by humans for humans, and designed to be a useful tool to make our lives easier.
I myself have already started using it in my job, as you can see, and it doesn’t feel like it’s doing the job for me entirely. Rather, it’s helping me do what I already know I have to do, but in an easier and faster way.

Here are at least five reasons why AI cannot truly “steal” our jobs:

1. You have to precisely describe what you need

Sure, it’s all fun and sparkly when you try to generate a random image based on a couple of words. But what if you need something very specific? Have you ever tried asking AI to generate an image with a particular style, in a particular environment? Usually, it doesn’t get it right in the first ten tries. You end up spending hours trying to come up with new ways to accurately describe what you need it to generate. And sometimes, you just conclude that it’s not capable, and you have to do it yourself.

2. You need to think outside the box

Creativity often requires thinking outside the box and coming up with unconventional solutions to problems. While AI can perform tasks based on pre-set rules and patterns, it cannot create something entirely new without human intervention. AI is limited by its programming and cannot think beyond the parameters set by its algorithms, so it typically provides generic solutions that have already been tested and approved. It is highly unlikely that AI will come up with something that nobody on Earth has ever thought of.

3. You cannot ignore the context you are working with

Cultural niches and clichés are so complex that we struggle to understand them, so how can an AI, which is completely designed by us, understand these mechanisms better than we do? Our role is to understand the specific needs and goals of our clients and adapt our creative direction accordingly. AI typically lacks the contextual awareness necessary to navigate and adapt to the ever-changing business landscape.

4. It is too appropriate

Art and creative work are often subjective and driven by a strong personal vision. AI lacks the ability to form subjective opinions, preferences, and a unique artistic perspective that comes naturally to humans. Instead, it tries to stay as neutral as possible because it is designed to cover as many topics as possible without being disrespectful or inappropriate. As humans, we actually seek the inappropriate: we are struck by irreverent ads, not by regular, neutral messages. We can think of somethig like that. AI cannot.

5. It’s just a replica of your mind

Artificial Intelligence is just a mechainsm designed to mimic our complex mind, through elaborating data across algorithms, training itslef through the machine learning, identifying patterns and making predictions based on what it learned. Yes, it is a replica of our mind, but this is just a little, tiny part of how our brain actually work. Moreover, we built it, and we don’t even understand how our mind works, so how could we possibly build a copy of something that we don’t even fully comprehend?

AI is a tool created for us! Let’s take the best from it! We can use proper prompts to make it create the longer parts while we concentrate on the creative aspect.
It’s such a powerful tool that it’s becoming increasingly strong, allowing us to delegate work to it and use our work time for thinking, creating, generating new ideas, and projects.

Isn’t it exciting?

In fact, this same article was written with the help of ChatGPT and Notion AI. I asked them ten reasons why AI cannot steal our jobs, and they delivered perfectly. I only had to think about the content and adjust it in my own style.

The future is now.

Don’t let yourself be left behind.
